VEGAS!

Cole and I went on vacation to Las Vegas in August for my 21st birthday. We had a blast! Our friends Sheldon and Timmery came with us and my friend Jodi drove down from LA. We went for 4 days and i wish we could have stayed longer. It was so fun! It was 104 degrees while we were there so it was really hot...I like hot :) We spent our time exploring the strip, swimming, hitting the clubs, loosing money haha, it was all around a great trip. Hopefully for our next vacation we can visit Mandy and Kelvin in HI. Maybe next spring? Hope everyone is doing great!

Goats!!

I have always wanted to get a cow to raise and eat. but the more i talked to people the more i didn't want to get one. a couple of weeks ago i thot to get some goats because in our back pasture its just weeds and no grass so i thot that a goat would be perfect. the past few weeks i have ben putting up mesh fence around the pasture and last night i finally got it done. so me and jenna got on craigslist and found a lady selling some goats so we hurried over to her place and bought to goats that are like 4 months old. right as we put them in the pasture they were Chopin down on the weeds!! they were kinda crying all night but i think they will be fine tonight. maby when they get big we can slater the goats and have a big mexican party!! they are about as tall as holdem. they rock!!

NEW JOB!!!!!!!!!

I got me a new job as a retrieval operator! a retrieval operator is someone who goes in a big 7 acre building that has nuclear waste in drums and retrieve them from a huge dirt mount. you suite up in some anti contamination suits that are just paper thin and have a respirator on and go to work. from what i have seen of them it looks like a prity cool job kinda like digging up a old place that know one has seen in like 30 years! I'm not shore when i start but it will be like in a month or so!!

Catching up

Wow this winter has really flown by!!! I cant believe summer is right around the corner. I am so excited for the weather to finally warm up. Hopefully this summer will be full of camping, dirt biking, and boating!!!

So to update you on Cole brew concoction....
It turned out tasting a little bit like beer mixed with wine. Not the greatest but it gets the job done. It made 6 gallons and we cant drink it all, so if your interested in stopping by and doing a taste test we would love to have you over!!!
I think next time we will try a raspberry or apple flavored beer.

Holdem & Kitty

So we bought Holdem a kitty for Christmas. He lasted only about 3 days. I think Holdem was a little intimidated by the Kitty and jealous that someone was getting more attention then he was.

Luckily we found kitty a good home where no one would pinch and hit him (aka Holdem).

Maybe when he gets a little bit older we can get him a new pet.

Micah, my brother has been in town for the past week with his awesome new wife. We now refer to them as Chippy and Choppy :)

Our parents rented out a cabin for the night and also some snow machines. We had a blast riding all day and playing in the snow.

Its been a while :)

Well we finally decided to update the blog. :)
Its been super busy lately.
I got off work today and came home to the house smelling like oatmeal and yeast. It turns out Cole decided to brew up some of his own beer. It actualy is really cool. Im excited to see how it will turn out. We will keep you updated.

Cole started a new job out at the site. Its treating him pretty good and he likes it alot better then his other job. He gets to drive big loaders and dump trucks...ohhh and clean a few toilets haha.

I started a new job as well as the Property Manager for Eagles Landing. It going good.. alot more stressful then i expected. but hey its more money and im not complaining about that.

Holdem is growing so fast. Our little guy is so awesome i cant hug and kiss him enough. He is starting to talk alot more and hes getting is own little personality. He learned how to hit so were trying to figure out the best way to make him stop....it not workin out so well lol.
